On Saturday, March 29th, we made a trip to Louisburg to visit GRACE ( Greater
Raleigh Autistic Children's Enrichment ). We had a Wonderful time. Our children had an opportunity to ride the horses
while parents enjoyed a time of fellowship.Thanks to all of the Volunteers and Susan Belton for making this day so special.

Coming up in April.... our Fellowship Group will be meeting and our Play Group will be taking
a trip to Pullen Park in Raleigh. For more information, please click on Page 2 below.
In May, we are planning a trip to the NC Zoo in Asheboro.
( See Page 2 for Details ). We will be loading a bus and making our way for a visit to see the Lions, Tigers and Bears…..If

What is Special Blessings? Special Blessings is an non-profit program for children &
adults with disabilities and their families. Our goal is to educate children, families and volunteers through
Support Group meetings, Community Inclusion and to offer fellowship in a Christian environment. By providing families with
information and knowledge, it will empower them to help their children grow to their fullest potential. ***You
Do NOT have to be a member of Raleigh Christian Community to participate. Regardless of Faith or Belief, Everyone is Welcome!***

Our
Support
Group meets once a month.
Families gather to share information on raising children with special needs. Our Play Group meets on a monthly basis to participate in activities such as, roller-skating,
bowling and park visits. Our Fellowship
Meetings are for families
who are interested in sharing their Faith
and Prayers. ( Meeting
times vary ) We are a Family
Outreach Program. There
are No Age restrictions to our group or participants.

Organization News
On August
16th, 2008, Special Blessings will present.... Carolina Mid Atlantic Wrestling Federation for a night of Food, Fun and Entertainment! CWF is Family Friendly and believes in Good, Clean Fun.
( NO FOUL language or Extreme Violence…. They have been seen on PAX TV )…. To make this night a success, we are in need of volunteers in these areas: set
up/ breakdown, ticket sales/ takers, concession stand and cashiers. For individuals interested in assisting with ticket sales….We have an incentive for you…..The
person selling the MOSTtickets
will win a Wrestling Championship Belt (courtesy of CWF) and a Portable DVD Player ( a “Thank You” gift from Special
Blessings ), to be presented during the event.
In addition,
we are looking for individuals or business's that would like to become a sponsor for this event. Sponsors will have the
opportunity to post a banner at ringside, be announced in the program, printed advertisements, have a link posted from the
Special Blessings Website to Corporate Website and so much more.
